I started this product 21 days ago, no weight loss but no further gain . Hadn't sleep through the night in ten years but I do with this product. Hot flashes not changed at all with this stuff, and night sweats that I never had before, are often while taking this. For that reason I am returning it and not going to waste my money. Just going to have to find something else, or just going to have to deal with it

I love this stuff. I have been taking Amberan now for 5 weeks and all of my symptoms have disappeared. I had hot flashes so badly I was afraid I was going to be written up for a HR violation (I couldn't keep my shirt on). Now I can wear sweaters in the winter and not have a melt down. I am still having weight issues, the pounds are melting on not off, but I am hoping that will also get better. Ladies when this works boy does it work.

I am 48 years old and perimenopause came from no where but with a vengence. I woke up one day to numb hands and feet, itchy skin, inabliity to sleep at night, very cranky, and sweating at night. I was so depressed because I felt AWFUL. I have been a sufferer of cholestasis of pregnancy in the past and the itchy skin is so distressing to me, it interferes with daily life it's thast bad. I saw the website for amberen...I was desperate. I am a huge review junkie and read everything I could about amberen. What I came up with was mixed reviews. I asked my husband if I could order it to try myself. I felt my symptoms were so severe (I haven't slept a whole night in about a month) that I went right to the increased dose. Today is day 3. I slept like a rock last night. No night sweats. My hands and feet burn every morning...today only mild paresthia . This usually goes away by noon. I am moisturizing like crazy but skin is still crawling. After scouring the web, and seeing that itchy skin is a symptom of perimenopause I came across a posting form someone that suggested taking stinging nettles. I did some research and nettles is supposed to help with a sluggish liver, which basically is what happens with cholestasis and bile salts back up in the blood stream. I am cautiously optimistic with this after 3 days of taking nettles. I am not so much itchy but just have the creepy crawly feeling. I will add another review in a week of amberen for those women like me that look for constant reassurance that a product will work. Right now I am pleased about one good nights sleep!! May be coiencidene but time will tell

I just started taking Amberen 3 days ago - today my face and neck are itching and I have hives - not too bad, but wondering if the Amberen is the cause?
I am not taking anything else with this product so that I can correctly determine if this is the cause of the hives and/or if this is going to work for me.
A hysterectomy at 39 (kept my ovaries) and in menopause since I was 40, (now50), I have hot flashes, mood swings (terrible mood swings), teary eyed, no patience, irritable, hot all the danged time, haven't slept through the night in about 4 years now and I am always angry. I don't really have night sweats too bad or too often, but upon waking and stepping out of bed I suddenly get all clammy - head to toe! Ugh! After a shower, and make up application I start sweating like crazy! This is horrendous and so not me!!! I think I forgot who the real me is!!!!
Anyhow, I am trying this Amberen to see if anything changes. If nothing changes I will not double the dose (that prevents you getting money back) I will just return the product. I am not a real believer of "natural" remedies but I spent 5 years on Bio identical hormone replacement and have gained 75lbs with it!!! Something has to give!!! I will post an update if my symptoms change/improve/remain the same.
Anyone else break out in hives with this product?

Spoiler Alert!
Ladies if you have no parts..Amberen will not help. I'm sorry. I did the full Amberen trial to no avail. I have been taking HRT's since 1994 and wanted something that would put my body on the right tract, so I tried Amberen and am sorry to say that it did not produce results. I actually had better results from the HRT. I am now going the route of natural foods to process the needed hormones since my body can no longer produce them by itself. For women who needed a complete hysterectomy, science should be working day and night to put our bodies back on the right tract. So many health issues arise from no hormones in the body. The official Amberen web site should also state clearly that the product will not work if no ovaries are in there.
So Sad

I was so sick and tired of sweating in the day and night, and not to mention imsomnia.
So, I was placed on a HRT until they found that, hormones make me have very high blood pressure. So once again, here comes the menopause. But, later I went to my pharmacist and she said try ESTROVEN for Night Sweats. I told her that I had tried it before and she was surprised as she said many of the patients use it and swear by it. So I decided to try it again, but I did notice that the packaging was different, so I thought maybe it is new and improved. Guess what no more night sweats or day sweats my symptoms have been reduced about 5%, so I am very happy now and I feel I can be myself again. So please ladies go give ESTROVEN another try now it works!
Now I sleep through the night, and the best part is that it is all natural.

I have really tried and tried Amerben. I am a huge fan of homeopathic treatments, but I have to honestly say this did nothing for me and a positive frame of mind is the best start for positive results. Saddly, no matter how positive and open I was to Amerben, it did not work at all for me.

Hello Ladies, I have been taking amberen since 12-30-2011, the first week I went from hundreds of hot flashes and night sweats to being able to count them on one hand. Then second week I was starting to sweat my freeken ass off again, I let it ride for another week. I contacted amberen live chat and they told me to start taking 4 pills, 2 white 2 red. I felt some relief for a few days with the night sweats and hot flashes. Now i'm in my last week of my first 30 days of taking amberen, and in my second package of pills. I can't send anything back, so I guess I'll just keep taking the amberen. All I want to do is stop sweating. I will have to say that I have BENEFITED in all other aspects, except I've gained weight.

I had a hysterectomy at 23 and by 33 had both ovaries out. I've been on the Vivelle dot patch for years now and wanted to get off it. Started Amberen, dropped to half a patc and I've been fine. About to drop to a quarter patch then no patch at all. I was nervous at first whether it would work but my doctor approved it for me and I took the plunge. It has worked keeping away hot flashes and mood swings and all that, and it has also calmed me some and lets me concentrate better. I'm sold. If it doesn't work for you, try going to the higher dose before you give up. I started it in conjuction with joining the gym, taking vitamins and calcium like my doctor said. I've always been a healthy eater. I feel great. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to be free of hormone patches or pills. Don't knock it til you try it.

Yes, it works! I have severe PMDD and I am 46 years old. I am on the double dose into my 2nd month on it. I have went from 72 hours of hell once a month to 24 hours of just exhausted and severe hot flashes in 60 days! I have one more month to go. I can't see any weight changes but I didn't get it for that reason! IT WORKS!!!!
